Mississippi River Trail Baton Rouge
Cruise the levee above the Mississippi with views of LSU, downtown Baton Rouge, and river traffic. A perfect e-bike workout route with plenty of open space.
Overview
The Baton Rouge section of the Mississippi River Trail runs along the levee, giving you big views of the river, downtown, and the LSU campus area. It's mostly wide, paved path on top of the levee with a few ramps and access points.
This is an ideal spot for Class 1–3 e-bikes — long, continuous sections where you can settle into a cadence, test range, and enjoy the view without mixing with a ton of car traffic.
